Automated Peritoneal Dialysis with AMIA
There are two types of dialysis: peritoneal dialysis (done at home) and hemodialysis (typically done in a hospital or clinic). Automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) is a form of PD done by a machine, usually while you sleep so you can carry on normal activities during the day. To help simplify your APD therapy done in the comfort of your home, we designed the AMIA APD system with intuitive features, such as voice guidance, a touchscreen control panel and the SHARESOURCE remote patient management platform.
